It has a 4R four-roll feeder and with an improved design, the wire feed is smoother, more stable, and can connect 5m MIG torches. With a 5″ LCD display – for intuitive and easy operation in 4 languages.

An ergonomic and compact welder, weighing 26 [kg], with a mount for a D300 spool and built with a transport handle, all on a sturdy cart with rugged castors for a total weight of 14 [kg]. It has a comfortable, quiet operating mode (FAN STOP) that saves energy. For welding with 3 methods, both with gas cylinder (MIG/MAG-AUTO) and gasless (FLUX), electrode (MMA) and LIFT-TIG.

The iTECH MIG 250 4R DUAL V is all about intuitive operation and advanced functionality, and individual adjustment of settings in PULSE, DUAL PULSE and INDUCTANCE technologies. The unit has a 3-metre all-copper 4×4 [mm2] 450V/750V power cable, a 400V/230V power cable adapter and a 3-metre all-copper 25 [mm2] ground cable. The kit includes a 3-metre electrode holder and a 4-metre KD24 torch.

Basic info on the SKANDI KRAFT iTECH MIG 250 4R DUAL V

  • Can use either a 400 V or 230 V power supply, welds thick materials and works in both industrial and workshop environments.
  • Welder with 4 roller wire feeder that supplies wire smoothly and steadily as required. The advanced feeder is built to handle even 5m long MIG torches.
  • The MIG/MAG AUTO system uses the chosen material, thickness and wire diameter to set the machine to optimal welding parameters.
  • PULSE and DUAL PULSE welding improves the transfer of filler material to the weld pool, boosting the quality and strength of the weld.
  • Welder with an easy-to-read 5″ LCD displayfive selectable languages and 18 memory channels to save your settings.
  • For welding with 4 methods: MIG/MAG AUTOMIG/MAGLIFT-TIG and MMA.
  • The FAN STOP system switches off the fan at idle – so it’s quiet when powered up and fully functional, saves energy and reduces dust in the system. The fan automatically switches on when welding starts.
  • Can connect a SPOOL GUN holder (with integrated wire feeder), to improve material transfer to the joint.
  • Lamp inside the welder for easy wire change in the wire feeder.

  • Welder on a sturdy cart with space for 50L cylinders. A chain to secure the cylinder and hooks for transporting the machine are included.
  • The device adjusts the welding current in the LIFT-TIG method after the material thickness is chosen. In the MMA method, the device adjusts to the material thickness and suggests intelligent parameters, including electrode diameter.
  • Convenient dials and a clear panel make it easy to quickly set up the welder, even when wearing welding gloves.
  • Features 2T and 4T options for making longer welds in more comfort.
  • SPOT functions – designed for spot welding. The machine has a preset heat-up time and the operator just sets the welding current. This function is most commonly used in auto repair shops .
  • S_2T /S_4T functions – combines two welding techniques. Spot welding, where gas shields the welding arc and pool before and after ignition. In addition, a 2T and 4T function combines to create the S_2T/S_4 method, so welding can start and finish correctly.
  • It is built with high performance IGBT components.
  • Gas preheater connector (36 V) – using the socket, you can connect the regulator with the preheater or the preheater itself and heat the gas to a positive temperature.

Welder functions

MIG/MAG AUTO welding

  • The automatic setting of the welder: after specifying the material, it’s thickness and wire diameter, the machine sets optimal welding parameters. This system can be manually fine-tuned for welding current and individual parameter adjustment.
  • Choice of 4 welding methods, and brazing option.
  • PULSE welding, improving the transfer of filler material into the weld pool, boosting the quality and strength of the weld.
  • Choice of 2T/4T, for making longer welds more comfortably.
  • Choice of weld material (Carbon steelStainless steelAl-Si – soft aluminium, Al-Mg – hard aluminium, Cu-Si – brazing).

MIG/MAG welding

  • PULSE welding, for better transfer of filler material into the weld pool to boost the quality and strength of the joint.
  • 2T/4T selection, for longer welds to be made more comfortably.
  • The SPOT welding function and the S_2T and S_4T welding support, i.e. gas shields the welding arc and pool before and after the welding process, and the lower current gradually rises to the base current and finally the current lowers to the crater quench setting.
  • Welding material selection (Carbon steelStainless steelAl-Si – soft aluminium, Al-Mg – hard aluminium, Cu-Si – brazing).

MMA welding

  • Hot Start – boosts the start of welding by temporarily increasing the welding current at the start.
  • Arc Force – adjusts the length of the welding arc, to reduce or increase the depth of fusion and reduce spatter.
  • VRD – turns off the arc when the electrode detaches from the material for a safer welding environment.
  • Anti Stick – easier electrode detachment in the event of sticking.

LIFT-TIG welding

  • Adjustable welding current [A], once set the welder prompts the thickness of the sheet metal.
  • The LIFT-TIG function is equipped with a SOFT START module, which eliminates the risk of damaging the electrode when welding starts.
